Structural Stabilization

Patina Preservation

We examine the cabinetmaker's original mark and analyze the timber species and joinery to plan a historically accurate preservation path.

Using period-correct hide glues and matching heirloom timber, we gently reinforce structurally compromised joints without altering the original form.

We clean and revive the original surface, applying hand-rubbed shellac coat by coat to honor the natural, rich patina of the wood.
